I think maybe we understand the word cool in pretty different ways!
But no, I get it. And it could have been cheesy fun, but it sort of just flounders in some sub-Uwe Boll hellscape of movie making devoid of any talent at all.
A new kingsmen trailer. Since this one shows a female henchman with like knife feet, I've upped my previous Mark Millar rape reference from 2, to at least 4. So there is your vegas betting mark for rapes/attempted rapes in the movie.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

Kudos for not putting that git kid in the trailer like the other one and focusing more on King's Speech being Alfred on steroids, and I wonder if this Blade Runner will get away with murder too, but after Kick Ass 2 I don't know if Vaughn is going to give me the Layer Cake successor I know he still has. And it's not going to come from Millar's work (oh hey they're fighting in a church that's way too edgy for modern times, right? Because it's 1980!)

Can Thor save all the megahertz and keep the bad men outside our codewalls? I'm finding myself inexplicably interested in the answer even if it means sitting through a terrible movie, but not in theaters.
January rated R movie about hackers... Yeah this is going to be awful.
I remember an segment on NPR this week about how technology is presented in TV/movies and at one point someone was decrying how corny and dated the whole "follow the code through the computer/World Wide Web" thing used you see in 80's/90's movies was.
There was an amazing bit on Blackhat in Empire, this quote in particular:
Contrary to any notions of sun-starved geeks, Hemsworth very much fits the hacker mould: young, smart, often a bodybuilder, often blond, and supremely confident.
Is Jupiter Ascending based on some kind of poopy YA novel?
Doesn't seem to be. May be poopy anyway, but luckily I have learned to filter out those guys' mistakes since the third matrix so even if it's still poopy something can probably be salvaged.

Hey, I recognise those robots in that Dolph movie. They're from a shitty so bad it's good b-movie from Amazon video called Robotropolis. There seems to be no relation between the productions, but it's funny seeing them show up again, since it's not even a good design

Did you know he has a masters of chemical engineering and has an IQ that in all likelihood is higher than anyone in this thread?
although I think Dolf Lungren could beat them up so they wouldn't question that
Who didn't?
Him, a random retired special reporter, and an Italian porn star.
It's really bad, in the so bad it's bad way.
looks like fun.
Ghibli dubs are usually great especially ones by Disney and even the older BBC dubs were great.
Secondly Ghibli makes movies, Giblets makes gravy.
I smell an autocorrect.

Vaughn didn't direct Kick-Ass 2.

Apparently Mann disagrees.
How long does Sean Bean last?

That looks way better than the previous trailers.
It's definitely a YA story though, even if it's an original one by the W-skis.
The word "Brogrammer" exists and is a thing.
YES! IT'S PTA TIME!
