Wait until the Godfest. If you're not sure if one is active or not just by checking the machine, there is not a Godfest active. Festivals and Carnivals are no good.
I finally beat the last stone dragon dungeon last night, so I have gained access not only to keepers, but to Zeus. Gonna farm Zeus as I figure out my team for it, and then I start marching through descends.

It's far from optimal. U&Y is there to give me a twin-prong attack when there aren't enough light orbs. The Athenas are crucial, of course. I probably ought to ditch Izanagi in favor of Echidna (though I'm worried about losing the HP -- I want to be able to take two hits from a king dragon).
The trash is pretty easy, but Zaerog himself is tough. If I can stall long enough to have gravities charged before I start the fight, then it's not so bad. Otherwise, it's rough. It might be a good idea to ditch Kirin and Hera-Is (or maybe Izanagi and Hera-Is) in favor of, say, Echidna and Verche -- hopefully this would eliminate the need to stall for gravity. Unfortunately, my Verche isn't evolved yet.
Really not sure what I'd do for an Athena team to beat Legendary Earth.
Probably Athena/Athena, MeiMei, GrOdin, Verche, King Flamie (for stupidly powerful Burst against the Heavy Metal Dragon).
9x1.5x1.5x3=60.75x damage for each Athena, even more if I get multiple groups of 4 light orbs, and that alone would be >120x damage against a dark monster.
Ran one last Satan run, got Kirin on the first floor. Had to stone twice but I got the drop. Don't know why I bother since my Kirin + subs team isn't even max level but I might as well start farming the mats to uevo Athena and join the club. All I need now is the green orb and a couple million light xp!

That might be the way to do it, but since running Tamadra Village for an hour requires a bunch of stones, that may have to wait a while. I'm low on stones.
New Hera-Is has some great awakenings, especially for a devil. Keep in mind that you should be getting her around the time Zaerog becomes a possibility for gravity.

My demon team can get me to Hera, then I die in one hit.
My blue team, and my god team, can get me to Lightning Holy Dragon, but don't have enough damage to kill it before he pokes me down.

The irony is that a Neptune would be fantastically useful for this dungeon, especially a high level one.

Hmm. I primarily use her for gravity and stat stick though. Want autoheal but meh.
Sure it takes less time, but getting a God evolved and leveled for one dungeon seems silly when any poison can work.
The non-light Valks all get 2 TPAs. Light Valk has to settle for 1.
