Also, to facilitate faster play, in the future just roll for another player's regeneration. If either die is a 1 then it regenerates. Also if they have any non-regeneration skills before the regeneration or after a failed regeneration attempt, then mention them so they can make their decisions (unless it's cheating which is mandatory).
Savvy fans of BB:TM may have noticed that I included certain, degenerative staff upgrades in the first game. I had forgotten that Fantasy Flight released an FAQ that restricted these upgrades to the No Salary Cap variant, and thus they slipped into that game. For this game, and future games, the following staff upgrades will not be available: Hall of Famers, We'll Get 'Em Again Next Season, Staffing Office, and Talent Scout. These staff upgrades mostly just gave you fans for having certain types of star players in your roster, team upgrades, or just having staff upgrades. This led to stale gameplay where players would race for staff upgrades early and plan their future turns grabbing stuff that corresponded to their staff upgrades (in addition to getting even more staff upgrades.
I apologize if this disrupts the strategy of anyone playing this game (Game #1 will just have to continue on the way it is), but the game is still early and it shouldn't have too much of an impact. But if you ARE going for certain staff upgrades, then keep in mind those upgrades are not available.
I don't want to coach too much, but in this case it's better since they have even star power, but the gutter runner has dodge which makes him harder to tackle. Also, if the Thrower gets ejected due to cheating, you still have the ball.
Jam Warrior is out for the weekend, but he's left with me some detailed instructions on how to play out the remainder of his hand. Things should continue as normal, but I'm just giving a heads up that I may interrupt the game in case something unforeseen happens that Jam Warrior didn't account for.
