So.. green guy is a goalie and the guy on the ground was faking a horrible injury so he picked him up and set him down to show that he was faking and green guy still got a card of some sort?

Not a good idea to go around picking people up in a football game. It's not a particularly well regarded move.
he's gonna get a card anyway might as well make a gif about it
Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
At this point I almost wonder if the fake injuries are to soccer as car wrecks are to nascar.
Like, you say you're watching it for the game or for the race
but cmon

People totally still flop but if the ref is keeping a good eye out he can totally eject you from the match for that shit. Sometimes it may just look like a flop because of camera angles but somebody clipping your foot while you're running full sprint is gonna trip you up
Yeah, it's kinda weird that football still hasn't gotten in to all of the video review stuff at all, especially in the world cups and stuff. Even though I only follow a bit of rugby occasionally, the video review stuff just seems like it's been integrated pretty seamlessly. It just seems like football's trying to be traditional for tradition's sake.
for better or worse soccer kind of has a history of "natural" flow of how the game is supposed to be, how the ref is supposed to direct it, there is a lot of resistance to the idea of constant stopping and starting and going over replays and stuff

yeah it'd be terrible if it was used like that
I would not mind going over the footage afterwards and giving penalties to players caught in very blatant faking

Guys, when you really think about it, the best part of that bread gif is that the door stop starts to work so they turn it sidewayas to make it look less effective
Do you ever worry that someone else might have expressed the same thought before you on an internet forum? Are you kept awake at night with anxieties about being beaten, or called 'slow'?

Yeah in the event that the injury had been real, picking him up like that could have seriously exacerbated it. Card is justified.
Still, it's really pathetic/disgusting that soccer players do that.

That's a fake one, right? Like, taking the piss out of the actual stupid examples given in those kinds of ads?
I remember seeing that on TV, selling a set of knives.

Yeah, or something like "other knives are like trying to cut with a block of wood".
Now I look at my avatar and, well, yeah.
This one is great because the thing actually starts to cut into it and so they turn it sideways to make it look less effective.
Are you kidding?
I'm all about watching those left turns.
