Recently I have taken to making rice balls, I have been using jasmine, because it is available and fragrant rice is phenomenal. Also, room temperature rice is crazy refreshing. I haven't looked around for the classical short grain rice though. Also my triangle shaping needs some serious help.
Round is a fine shape too.
Riceballs are great, put a little salmon inside, or miso paste, or both. Sprinkle some sesame seeds into the rice. Wrap it with seaweed. Mmmmmmmmm.

I was doing tuna with mayo and cabbage wilted in dashi and they turned out great. I really should get some salmon in that mix though.

I like the flavour of coconut so I enjoy coconut milk and cream, but I can't stand the texture so hate eating actual coconut. It's one of the few foods I Do Not Like
I forgot I had a free trial of Gamefly that expired this weekend. Sigh, less money for indulgences.
I could cancel now and not worry about running up another month or I could try to get 16 dollars worth out of a month subscription.

I did know that. I ended up buying it a month later anyway. Love it.
However, Gamefly has a warning on the cancellation page that they won't give you back money for unused time. Kinda explains why they have free trial offers out everywhere and stuff.
You can get coconut milk in any grade of fat, it's a mixture of the fruit of the coconut with water, so it's whatever the produces mixes at. Personally I like using smaller amounts of the high fat stuff, which creates fatty, sticky sauces.
