So Cena, who just lost to Ambrose last week, is awarded a chance at a number one contendership match?

How the fuck does this make sense?

Shouldn't Ambrose and Rollins be for number one contender?

Very true but when you are as accomplished as Randy and Cena you are always just a announcement away from a title match

I love the scheming mind of Seth Rollins. Why choose to fight Lesnar yourself if you don't have to? It makes sense that the Cena/Orton match being for the number one contender spot would be his idea. Of course he wouldn't want the spot in the title match himself, he wants to wait until someone can barely survive a win against Lesnar, then take advantage and cash in on them.

Were there only 5 matches last night? Not that I can complain, it was a LOT less filler and much more story.

this certainly isn't a foregone conclusion, and orton v lesnar would probably rule

Woops, yeah, I originally missed the 'chance' part. I guess that's good, in the sense it gives some much needed stakes int the Cena/Orton match, and I would like to think the WWE would know better than to run the same program again.

But you know, it's the WWE.

They need to have one more match with a decisive winner.

Although I wonder if Orton does get the shot and that's how he officially turns face. Do they get Brock for Survivor Series though? Or do they wait till the Rumble?

I think what made these last two Raws easier to watch was the lack of filler.

We've been all wrong. Ambrose isn't the next Stone Cold, he's the next Mick Foley "Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman.

Also the WWE having a "morals clause" in it's contracts makes me laugh almost uncontrollably.

Everyone is different. Everyone is special.

According to a report sent to prowrestling.net, a fan claims that Randy Orton was injured during last night’s main event on Raw. The reader claims that Orton appeared to be hurt when Dean Ambrose dove off of the announce table onto the rest of the competitors. The report notes that Orton spoke with the WWE doctor and stated that, “The ruptured disc in my back is f—ed.” There has been no word from WWE on Orton being injured at this time.

    Hmmmmmmmmm

There is almost no way he used that exact quote, I would be willing to put money on it. Maybe a Kit-Kat instead of money, either way.

If Dean and Seth is going to be blown off after Sunday I could see them pairing Ambrose with Bray for the rest of the year. Or maybe Harper.

Randy was still taking bumps after the alleged injury so he'll probably tough it out for HiaC, assuming he is hurt.

Cena/HHH would be so much better, assuming Hunter is in enough ring shape to do it.

Did you guys know that, according to Bill Simmons and Michelle Beadle, the one really loud kid who was screaming Let's Go Cena as he was being thoroughly destroyed by Lesnar, was Bill's daughter?

    Smackdown spoilers
SmackDown kicks off with Dean Ambrose in the ring ready for a fight. He calls out Seth Rollins. Rollins talked more about The Shield and promised to address Ambrose again later in the show.

    * The Miz and Damien Sandow defeated Los Matadores.

    * AJ Lee got a good pop and defeated Alicia Fox with a roll up. Paige, who was at ringside, talked trash after the match and chased AJ.

    * Dolph Ziggler defeated Cesaro to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title in a great match. Ziggler won with a Zig Zag.

    * Nikki Bella, Summer Rae and Cameron defeated Natalya, Naomi and Brie Bella when Nikki hit her finisher on Brie and pinned her.

    * Cesaro vs. Ziggler in a 2 of 3 Falls Match is announced for Hell In a Cell.

    * Bo Dallas, Goldust and Stardust defeated Mark Henry and The Usos when Bo pinned Henry.

    * The show ended with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose brawling. Ambrose ended up putting Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble through two tables for a big pop. Rollins watched from outside of the ring.

Sounds pretty good, and that IC title match at HiaC sounds killer.

Kinda hoping at the Halloween Smackdown they just have the Boogieman everywhere backstage. Like a guy goes to find his rival backstage opens a door and theres the Boogieman. "I'M THE BOOGIEMAN" He slams the door and says "wrong room" goes to the next one down the hall and opens the next. Boogieman is there too "AND I'M GOING TO GET YOU!"
