I really liked Shadow Hearts: From the New World. I loved the characters and just playing within the americana a great deal.
Shania's lack of clothing was annoying, and I didn't like it's random encounter rate. Those were the main things that felt bad.
Frank Goldfinger, Mao, & Ricardo Gomez were the best though, and it honestly felt like a great game.
I'm still super early in Bravely Default but I find it kind of amusing how Agnes stubbornly tries to keep the cliche party formation from happening.
It reminds me of that South Park episode where Clyde tries to ignore the very-obvious plot point that he has to solve but ends up stumbling onto it anyway.
It's funnier when you think that Agnes doesn't realize she's in a JRPG situation and constantly tries to work against it.
I hate thinking about JRPGs that will never be, cause my brain jumps to Dragon Quest VII. Which is and has been, but I just can't play it without a time machine or eBay bucks.

Haven't played a lot of the game, but have enjoyed it so far. It's unique and has an appealing tone.
But that voice.
Agnes really grows on you over the course of the game, and man, she's one of the best screamers in the cast
That script called for quite a bit of anguished screaming and they picked some real winners for it
I just need to sit down and actually play the dang game.
