We (G&T peeps) just did a Hard VoG run on Sunday night. It was the first time doing Hard for at least one person and the Relic holder during Templar had never done it before. Downed him in four (maybe five?) attempts, which is pretty damn good for someone's first time doing Relic.
@UnbreakableVow did you finish the VoG run? What didn't you like about it? I'm surprised, since VoG seems to be the "sweet spot" of Destiny for basically everyone.
I feel like I don't play this game a lot because I'm on the xbone
We've got ~100 duders (only about 50 or so really active) in our Xbone G&T clan.
Most nights we've got around 10-20 people playing doing various activities. Join us!
the hidden secret is that the xbox one people are typically, from what I've seen at least, more organized than the ps4 people
they had (have?) team names for regular raid nights!
We still do!
NATBurn (Booker made our VoG runs a little harder due to his connection issues)
Fourth Meal (super late night fun)
Skittles (no idea on this one)
Motorboat Kitten (someone's cat made a funny noise one night?)
When you stride through the Tower, people are going to ask you where you got those wonderful toys. You’ll nod and let them know you earned them. It’s a Year One thing, and they just wouldn’t understand. And they won’t ever be able to get their hands on their own set.
does bungie really still think this sort of thing actually happens?

yeah apparently
i really like this game and think Bungie is largely doing right by it but they take themselves waaaay too seriously with this crap
i wonder if it's their marketing team and the actual developers feel a little embarrassed about it, or if the whole company is on board
The Titan in that VIP rewards image makes me wish there were a Titan subclass that was basically the Destroyer Soldier from ME3 multiplayer. Shoulder-mounted mini-rocket launchers and all that.
So, do I have to forward specific ports for destiny on top of the ones I already have forwarded for xbox live. Every time I launch the game it tells me my NAT is strict even though my NAT for live itself is open.

I didn't care for it!
Still really digging Prison of Elders though, that seems to be my ideal mode for a game like this

Just reading the transcript and your man is kind of a dick about the whole thing.
