Too bad the most popular maps to come out of the community in the last three years are all joke maps.
Perhaps Valve should just give in. Buy those giant house maps, all the mario maps, orange_x3, and don't forget Crash's maps. Call it the hallucinogen update and give the community what they voted for.
I'm sure they're going to implement a map workshop really soon!
Custom maps are basically just mods, so custom map support will work exactly like the Skyrim mod workshop. And while Valve will no longer be purchasing popular custom maps and making them official content, there's a great new alternative! You can use the paid mod system they just deployed for the Skyrim mod workshop! Every player must purchase custom maps separately of course. Naturally, Valve will be taking 75% of the revenue generated through map sales to cover the miscellaneous costs and fees of providing this system. And obviously it is not economical for Valve to give payouts in increments smaller than $100. Good luck, mappers! Hope you make a mint!

Sorry I missed out tonight, guys. Got sucked into a 10 hour Civ game with friends. We had to stop for the night in the middle of a war that's pretty much deciding who wins :c
That's 6's right? What are the odds they've got a spy? His positioning gives him a good view if any scouts try to get past him and he's got most of his team with almost all of that video. Seems fairly safe in that particular scenario.
Joined a mumble channel with a bunch of TF2 content creator nerds and were running around some maps. Showed off the finale explosion of Stoneyridge to them.
Yeah, I stole it from the Models & Textures subform on tf2maps. I always meant to remake it if it looked like Valve was interested in the map.. but whelp.

Normal hats people in the real world wear? That's not TF2 unless it's on fire or dyed hot pink.

Weird how much time he spends zoomed in, though.

No that sounds right. Definitely mapping.
Alternatively, pour yourself one of these.

Plus some other shit.
(It'll be a good reminder for just how bad I am at the game.)
