So, what's with all this House of M/Age of Ultron/Civil War/random Marvel event stuff I keep seeing
Are they redoing them or something? Rebooting them?
There will now be two events of everything?
Comic book naming schemes can already get complicated enough by not having different enough names, the idea of having two House of Ms and two Civil Wars just seems crazy

We don't know yet but popular consensus is that they are all tying into Secret Wars since the story is all about the Marvel Multiverse crashing into one another
It's about the smartest way to cement Inverted Tony as a huge asshole but not an outright villain I can come up with.
Clearly he thinks he's doing Matt a favor by curing his blindness, but his sheer arrogance totally blinds him to the fact that hey maybe Matt doesn't want to be cured and I bet Tony will not be able to understand why someone would be mad about what he did.
As for 2017, I am still very skeptical that we get either Venom or the Female-Led Spider-Man spin-off, Fantastic Four 2 has the potential to be canned depending on the success of F4, which is up in the air at this point, and Lego Batman isn't anymore a superhero movie than the Lego Movie was. It's a CGI Comedy that happens to star Batman.
I think it's counts as much as Big Hero Six does, which is a Disney movie that happens to have superheroes in it.
Venom totally ain't happening that year though, I'll agree.
Had some more thoughts.
The issue with the female spider-man spinoff is that it's development period is a little too close to Sinister Six, so they can't sit on it waiting for the SS results, unless they push it off to 2018. If we don't hear anything more about it by the time SS happens, then yeah, it'll probably not be out that year. The fact that it's still "female lead spider-man spinoff" isn't a good sign, but they have a few years to figure that out. Marvel still has two films that year that they haven't announced.
FF2 will take a herculean level of failure of FF1 to make Fox not do anything with it. If for no reason than it's IP fodder for an X-men/FF universe.
So even discounting Lego Batman, Venom and the Female-lead movie, that's still seven films in one year; which which combined with 2016 and 2018 will be 3 years worth of 6-7 films a year. That's still a definite increase over previous years of 3-4.

Some are just shitty generic American style Asian fair but I've been to some of the better ones and the boba was still shitty.
newsflash
taiwanese immigrants are not banned from oklahoma
Doesn't Avi Arad not want there to be other superheroes in this universe?
Oklahoma is terrible
Our governor once banned all marriage for a short while because of a loop hole that allowed for same-sex couples to get married last year
nothing
they announced it to say they'd done so before marvel
I'm not sure Avi Arad is in charge of those decisions anymore, after how ASM1 and 2 did.
There's a reason ASM 3 got delayed by two years.
and uh
Spider-Woman, depending on how the rights shake out
and uh
Silk?
WELL, I posit that the boba gets less good as you move from west to east
What I'm saying is you should come to California Blank

Blank, Avi Arad specifically said there will not be other superheroes in their spider-verse
Like, terrible, sure, but I love that level of insanity.
