Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Wow, everyone liked Umbrella Chronicles except joystiq, and the writer was hating more on the genre (on rails shooter) then anything else.

Are we absolutely certain Mikami doesn't work for Capcom still, he's so hard to pin down...

He had an interview with Famitsu last week where he explained what's happening. He's working with both his own company (can't remember the name), SEEDS and on a contract basis with Capcom.

Oh and I'd like to say, I'm so NOT gay for Mikami. In fact, I'd say he's completely over-rated. Kamiya, I'm gay for. He directed Resident Evil 2 (best RE evar!), Devil May Cry 1, Viewtiful Joe and Okami. Legend.

Newly announced titles for Nintendo's handheld system include, first, the third chapter in Capcom's cult Phoenix Wright legal adventures, with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. Set for release in September 2007, Trials and Tribulations will continue the tradition of the first two chapters of the series, with a new "mysterious hard-boiled" prosecutor named Godot
We might be in for a bit of a wait, heh.

Also, you play as Phoenix and Mia...

I saw a screenshot of Grossberg as your wingman. Good times.

That sounds more like phone sex than a show.

Why is there an NDA on DMC4 information? Journalists cannot cover the game until May 1st, but what is so special about that date?

I would maybe guess that they aren't that far along with the game yet or perhaps they just want to doll out the information for their games at a more gradual pace. Does seem kind of odd though.

Also the other Wii game they showed is quite the departure from the Resident Evil games.

I'd wager they've arranged an exclusive with somebody, probably a magazine, and May 1st is their on-sale date.

Capcom fails for not making a god damned Steel Battalion 2... Or hell, if I have to be more realistic here, they could at least announce a Dead Rising 2 now...

That Treasure game actually looks fun in a quirky kind of way. Although I think the bell character would end up annoying me pretty bad.

You're not talking about the developer, right, but that Treasure Hunter Z thing... right?

Yeah. Looks pretty good in the demo IGN has up.

So Project Treasure Island Z is supposedly going to be like 40-50 hours long and is budget priced at $40. Sweet.
