The 3DS version is out, and the Wii U version will launch on Nov 21st in America, November 28th in Europe, the 29th in Australia, and Japan doesn't get it till Dec 6th. But they got the 3DS version like a month early so fuck em.

Oh, I had the EU release date wrong. They're getting it on the 28th, Aus is getting it on the 29th, and Japan doesn't get it till Dec 6th.

You can really tell that the developers threw everything they had into this title. Dare I say it's a system seller? Do people still buy consoles based on a single title these days?

No it doesn't. In fact, the Wii U is notable for being the first Nintendo home console to not sell at a profit. That's one of the reasons why the thing was such a drain on the company for the first year.
