So I traded in 4U for 3U because now I know how to play MH, and don't want to do so on a tiny screen

We should play Unbreakable! I have just recently felt like getting back into MH3 and need someone to hunt with.

I can't remember what I did exactly, but I also died during the intro sequence on my first playthrough. I assumed that was supposed to happen until I played the game again months later.

I'll still get the game, but I can kinda understand some of the complaints.

Can't watch the review right now (at least with sound) but saw the score. Pretty much my opinion on that entire franchise :P I'm actually a little curious what Josh at the Bit block will rate it though - he's a huge Mario Party fan though he has said he hates a lot of the decisions made in the newer ones (i.e. everyone in one car)

It's not the best, but it isn't terrible either...just different.

I'm pretty 'meh' on the Mario Party franchise myself, but my kids love it and we play it as a family on a regular basis (Mario Party 8 & 9) and I admit to having a blast all because they are enjoying the game so much.

They want MP10 and I'm sure that I'll have a ton of fun with that one too since I know they will.

I understand that the Mario Party series is not for me. But I do hope Nintendo chills out a bit on it. Mario Kart is handled perfectly. A new game for each new piece of hardware. Party often double or even triple dips on the same platform.

I'm sure they are very quick and super cheap to produce. On top of that they sell pretty well.

I expect them to keep coming.

I really want Nintendo to just rethink the formula.

They should just make an Mario Party HD remake collection. Hell, it'd be a great series for DLC too.
