I saw an advert for Chronicles: China on Steam and got pretty hype, which hasn't happened since AC2

But people in here don't like it?

Basically, it seems like it's a worse version of Mark The Ninja with a dumb plot.

But, since Mark T. Ninja, Esq. was a great game, a worse version is still good times, even with bad checkpointing.

I still want the Taiping Rebellion

They could have Victorian stuff in the trade concessions without losing the Chinese stuff

Even revisit the clash of civilizations crusader themes of AC1 via Christian adventurers like Townsend Ward and Chinese Gordon

Itd b cool id play it ._.

Why do they think Connor is some kind of Poochy to be killed on his way to his home planet

The part at the beggining of ac3 where you play Haytham was way too long.

Should have just started as young Connor.

the sailing counterpart to the taiping rebellion game takes place in the east indies

the three major cities are singapore, batavia and sydney, the last level involves that earthquake machine from rogue and the island of krakatoa

I wonder if my tastes are out of synch with the gaming majority. All I really want is a Connor trilogy.

    They definitely are

Connor was not well received as a protagonist

I at least liked Connor in that he was a big departure from either Altair or Ezio

As much as I love Edward Kenway and ACIV in general, he definitely felt like a much safer character, personality wise

I wonder if the Wii U version of AC3's any good

Because the framerate on 360 was so bad the game would actually give me a headache if I played it for longer than half an hour

Isn't the 360 still a more powerful system than the WiiU?

They did a 360 port of that, didn't they?

    Yep.

They ported it to PSN, 360 and PC.

    It's a pretty fun game!

I played it on the Vita and still enjoyed it even with, you know, having to play an AC game with Vita controls.

It's so much better on consoles

The Vita version's framerate made it pretty unplayable for me

Liberty has the hands-down most thematically-interesting blend of mechanics and gameplay the series has ever seen

The homestead missions were a hidden gem I overlooked to finish the game. Being able to do them one after the other is nice though. Not as nice as the couple thanking Connor for helping them and that they were with child while Connor is knocked out of frame mid-cutscene by a wolf and has his larynx ripped out. Their heads tracking downward as they give Connor the good news.

the old homestead appears to be undisturbed in 2012, anyway, though it's not clear if it's inhabited

it would have been cool to actually walk through the modern homestead, if ubisoft had infinite time and resources
