I cat-sat my sisters kitty while she had a rental inspection.
The cat spent almost all of its time here snuggled up to me and getting pats to the point where it slept on my bed curled into the small of my back last night, and my sister sent me a couple of pictures of her cat staring wistfully out her apartment window tonight, which is apparently a thing it NEVER does.
Usually it is very shy around people it does not know very well, but she dropped it off here yesterday afternoon and in about 5 minutes it was climbing into my lap and sprawling out with its belly up, batting at my hands to stroke its tummy.
I am getting a second cat today, a two month old kitten. Max is almost 2 years old now and he spent a year and some change of his life with at least one other cat around the house so he's been really whiny and gotten fat and lazy since he's been on his own. So, he's getting a little sister. I'll take pictures later today! Name still undecided.
