Minnesota!

It's a place you can exist in! But what other fabulous features does it have to offer you ask? In this, first post, we will look at the great outdoors.

Well, lets start at the beginning and find out where it is. Here is what it looks like!

jf1x3h883ljz.png

Yes, it is that northerly middle one with the pointy parts on it. It looks like we thought about adopting the western square shapes, but then decided "screw it!" pointy bits!

Yes, but what do you really have there?

Great question Jebus! You really know how to ask them!

We have the mighty Mississippi going through most of the state. I say most because the headwaters are here, meaning the river starts here.

5yf0cnbqvuxt.jpg

Barely a trickle there, but only a bit down stream it really picks up into being the mighty river it is elsewhere. Without us, there would be no river!

There are also the gorgeous boundary waters, as seen in the spoiler
boundary-waters-77098-sw.jpg

Or the fabulous north shore of Lake Superior.

High Falls in Grand Portage

But all of those pictures look warm isn't Minnesota a cold place?

Why yes, Jebus it can be. But that also brings us other fabulous outdoor wonders.

We make ice palaces!

Think we might give up on fishing just because it is -10 and the lakes are frozen? Think again!

The cities also look great in the winter.

Here is a ship coming into harbor in Duluth.

Well, I think that is enough for the first post. Next time I will post about the different cities one might want to see and the attractions therein.

I didn't know of a ball of twine.

Apparently it is in Darwin MN, and may or may not be "The worlds biggest"

    How droll.

Droll? Come on, it really makes you think. I mean, what on earth would make a man decide to do that kind of thing: winding up twenty-one thousand, one hundred forty pounds of string? What was he trying to prove? Who was he trying to impress? Why did he build it? How did he do it? It is anybody's guess.

And where did he get the twine? What was going through his mind? Did it just seem like a good idea at the time?

That 75% thing is not unique to the Mall of America. It is all malls.

Teasing aside, Minnesota seems like a cool place, the most Canadian of the Americas

I felt really bad when you lost your hockey team, because it seems like one of the few states that would really feel that loss

but you got the Wild, and they're pretty cool definitely a hockey team
