I really shouldn't buy Axiom Verge until I finish Bloodborne, the Last of Us, Transistor and all the other ps+ games I have right? Right?? Why do I want to play it so badly?
I firmly believe in playing what you want, when you want to play it. If you want to play axiom verge, play axiom verge, the other games will keep.
Adventures in Emergent Gameplay: Late to the Party Edition
I was hunting a goat thing that I needed to increase my wallet size, and for some reason the bastards had been nowhere to be found, even using the location guide on the map. After about half an hour I find one, and it's in the sights of my bow, when an eagle swoops down and carries it off. The stealthy hunter sneaking through the grass becomes the yelling AK-47 sprayer running after the eagle until it drops the goat down a cliff.
Later, I was sneaking up on a guard platoon, and decided to hit them with some bait so I could reap the skins afterwards. The bait hits the tree in front of me and rebounds right at my feet. I now have to deal with an alerted platoon and a honey badger trying to eat my face.
This game is great.
I have also tried to kill a rhino three times and been trampled each time. I may have to eschew the clean kill and wait until I get a sniper rifle.

There is a place near a river where rhinos spawn. If you fight them there you can run into the water and they stop chasing you.
Easiest way to get clean kills before you get the crossbow.

I have seen rhinos near water, but seeing as the first time I saw a lake I was almost eaten by an alligator, I've been wary of going swimming in general. I'll try that out once I've killed everything bigger than a minnow in the water.
I also thought I'd cheese a tower by flying up to the top.
"How clever I am," I thought, as I hopped off the helicopter.
"What a mistake I've just made," I thought, as I slid off the roof, hit the floor, and had a helicopter land on top of me.

That's a good way to look at it. I sometimes have a hard time justifying new purchases when I've already got a ton of unplayed games sitting around.

One of them attacked a Sherpa just as we'd finished trading.
I've never heard of Auru's Awakening or Tower of Guns though
