I got free shit! A couple of stickers, the Survivalism single, and a Beside You In Time DVD sampler. Kinda cool, has 5 performances on it.

I love a good concept album. It would be great if Trent released this one in 5.1 like he did The Downward Spiral.
And for all you Canucks who have an A&B Sound nearby and lack one of the NIN releases, go check them out. Most of their albums were on sale for $9.99 today. I would have picked a couple up (lost mine a few years back in a fire) but I couldn't afford it. I do get paid tomorrow though...

the album is telling the story of Year Zero
each song is from a different character in the story's viewpoint
it's not really about his opinion on anything that is happening now, but what might happen in the future

Of the different viewpoints I didn't expect to actually see one from The Presence itself. Vessel seems to be all about the consumption of Parepin or Opal but I'm not completely sure.

It does a really good job of giving a rather concise overview.
I can explain it, but the proper way is to actually go the sites and look at it for yourself. I think the album is better if you experience the ARG. Just wiki Year Zero to get links to some of the main sites. Very well done and some of the shit you see and hear is just plain creepy.
