I enjoyed it, personally. It didn't feel 40 minutes long.
But I'd say it was more like I felt amused for the entire thing, rather than ever laughing to myself like a madman like I did with the first three at times.

Today, Fantasy Flight unveiled wave 8 of X-wing.
Rebels, yo!
I've been putting off watching Rebels, but I'm thinking I need to pick it up.... unfortunately, it looks like it is locked behind a paywall for Comcast, at least on Disney's channel. Bummer.

I got a couple good guffaws out of it, "gotta go eat din din" and every mention of mouldy peaches
Broke as fuck in the style of the times. Gratitude is all that can return on your generosity.
Mmm
That was amusing, but never really got more than a smile out of me
I feel like the absence of Jedi running around being hooligans means a lot of humorous situations were lost.
Yeah the over-the-top special effects scenes and awkward acting informed a lot of the Jedi Dance Party trilogy. This one needs an entirely different tone due to the source material.
i think this just highlights how much better the original trilogy was. like, it's hard to parody an actually good movie.
the prequels on the other hand were more like a skeleton without flesh (intentional Creepio language used), and the Auralnauts could mess around with things a lot more.
Plus all the jokes actually related to the movie this time were just pointing out stuff from the prequels that didn't line up with the original series.

There's a cockpit view
I'm sold
There also feels like a shitload of fighters in that trailer
That could just be clever editing around their player limit, but I sort of hope that it has something like Titanfall, where there's just lame AI characters also running around to fill out the battlefield and you can get points for killing them too

I really hope that's the case!

Obi/Larry/Steve was like, a non-character now.
Well, and Han.
Duke & Leia had the barest of characters to them.
Anakin and Friend Besto got all the actual characterization.

Bummer, I wonder if my local shop still has all the issues?

These are comic shop dates though. Amazon typically gets them two weeks later.

Neat thing about the trailer is that it's supposedly set on a never before seen but known planet.

I'm pretty sure that planet made an appearance in the original Rogue Squadron.
