I really feel like that quest was a missed opportunity
to tease the world of Cyberpunk 2077
Or at least to show a crazily technologically advanced world and blow Geralt's mind

When Ciri was telling Geralt about Avallac'h taking her to a world where people had metal in their heads, fought from long distances with things like megascopes and travelled in flying ships.

Which may be surprising to those who mainly choose friendly and sometimes sexually suggestive dialogue
Similar to how people who have a jovial chat with Keira and send her on her way to Kaer Morhen may be really startled that the other options are a) murder her and b) let her be burnt at the stake by Radovid

i dont remember what i picked but she threw me the fuck out of the keep
i dont think it was about blowing up kaer morhen, though, i do tend to stick to friendlier lines
To get her into a mood that antagonistic you have to start off by making a joke about how she's trying to blow up everyone, or else needle her about your relationship with Triss and then say you're not going to beg her forgiveness

I'm not too worried, I have days of stuff to do before I start into Ugly Baby. I imagine 1.07 will be hitting soon with that DLC announced, maybe they fix it.
My brother just finished the main Bloody Baron questline and he is freaking out at how much he's enjoying it
His exact words were "How is it that the Bloody Baron is a character I care more about that anyone in any Dragon Age?" which from him is stupidly high praise
It's so fun watching him go through it, and I got him to read Sword of Destiny this week so he's caught up on the most important story beats and he is at maximum hype

I haven't even met Hjalmar yet and I can tell he'd be a shitty king. Maybe Skelligers deserve a ruler who gets all their soldiers killed doing some idealistic crusade, though.

I really hope future RPGs pick up on Witcher 3's quest design, cause goddamn, this game set a precedent. I haven't felt bored once while playing this game, and so far, i've probably clocked in about 70 hours. Everything I do in this game has heft to it and seems meaningful.
Like could you imagine a Dragon Age game with Witcher 3's quest model? please Bioware, take note!
