Ok, I didn't think the Thor movie was going to be good, but I saw it and said "You know, this was probably as good as they could do given the source material." Then I heard later about the influences of the director and such, and how the people involved in the movie knew that it was really about Loki (this was my little fan theory for a while, but it was nice to hear).
I am convinced that for hollywood to make a good fantastic four movie, they need to build it around Doom.

Just adapt the Books of Doom into a movie
Make it an origin story, but of the villain rather than the heroes, because that's all anyone wants anyways
Cast Mads Mikkelsen, have it end with him becoming properly Dr. Doom and the Fantastic Four coming to stop him, and then you can make some FF movies if you want, but you've got the important stuff out of the way first, and it puts a spin on the first-in-a-franchise superhero movie model that makes it more intriguing for people

I finally saw Ant-Man and I think I may put it third in the MCU pantheon, behind Cap 2 and Avengers. That movie just clicked for me on just about every level, especially the Michaels, Peña and Douglas. I really thought going in that this was being sent out to die, but the movie completely bought into every facet of the concept and while it was silly as hell it was really fun.
