I assumed dragons were weak to ice because they are cold blooded and it would make them sleepy. Faeries are strong because magic, and in dark vs. faerie, faeries represent goodness and dark evil
What is the logic behind the weaknesses of the more esoteric pokemon e.g dragon, dark, fairy.
For example: fire is weak to water because water douses fires. Why is dragon weak to ice?

I believe that dark translates to something more akin to underhanded in Japanese, so fighting is effective because an honourable fighter beats an unhonourable cut throat

But mostly they don't use fire attacks. They COULD, but they don't. They use Dragon attacks, which are beams and shit. Dragon doesn't really make sense as a type to be hoenst.

Melding I recently bought a cloak of invisibility. The good kind that relies on dimensional transference rather than optical redirection because I have a problem with people with infravision being able to spot me. Dragon being weak to ice is probably somethign to do with dinosaurs dyign to the ice age. Dark being immune to psychic is because dark is also evil which invokes fear and fear is the mind killer. Fairy being strong to dark is because child like hope defeating evil?
