I don't have a fancy image and I'm not 100% sure of the best way of doing this but I know I hate seeing that is not being done this year so I'm going to try to organize it.
Essentially Secret Saints is a way for generous folks on the forum to help out those who are less fortunate and can't afford to do Secret Satans.
If you sign up as a saint there is no obligation to give. If you suddenly realize you can't afford it you won't be punished.
If you want to be a Saint PM me. I was going to set up an email account but we usually don't have a ton of participation here. Let me know how many people you would like to give to and I'll randomly assign them.
If you feel like you maybe you can't quite afford the holidays then, first of all, we've just about all been there so don't be afraid to sign up. Secondly, PM me your real name, address, if you have a wishlist, if you are looking for gifts for yourself or kids or a significant other.
If I have no clue who you are and you don't post I'm not going to add you to the list. Too much of a chance of someone just trying to get free shit.
As a gifter if you would like to remain anonymous let me know.
Giftee's cannot remain anonymous. You should post and gush over how awesome some people are for giving and getting nothing in return.
If you have any ideas of anything I've forgotten about organizing this please let me know.

I was going to agree with this post but that would be cocky of me.
I love this place.
Don't be shy. We all want to send gifts to people to make their holidays a little brighter if we can!
There's a lovely history of SE++ surrogate gifting for children, spouses, parents, siblings, etc, (as well as the original person signing up).
And basically if you're looking to participate in a holiday thing, but finances are too tight, this is a pretty fun community driven way to do that.
Or my fiancee, rather. I really don't have anything that I want or need this christmas that I cannot provide for myself, but the two of us are currently in the process of moving from one house to another--the associated costs of which are sort of making it tough for me to get her any of the things that she deserves. Thankfully she's pretty okay with just having a stable, nicely decorated place to live insofar as gifts are concerned so it's not really too big of a deal. However, I saw this thread last night and I couldn't help but think of how cool it would be for her to recieve a package in the mail with an awesome gift from (as far as she's concerned) a kind stranger. So, I humbly grovel to you, Secret Saints thread--please help me shower my future wife with presents.

I use to do Secret Satans, and I did it for a couple years. I used to love gifting really huge & crazy themed gifts to people on the boards because I fucking love putting together something someone else will just fall in love with.
But I can’t do that this year because I work with kids for the government, and as such I basically make nothing.
So, if y’all are giving I am happy to receive stuff.
My wishlist is as follows…
My interests are varied. I enjoy old video games and have recently been trying to find some old Gamecube & Gameboy Advance games for my collection. I am also a fan of board games but don’t possess too many (I have the GoT game, Dixxit, & Cards Against Humanity). I play Pathfinder, so anything for that would be nice. As far as comics I think the last trade I got were Hickman’s Fantastic Four Vol 1 & Fraction Daredevil Vol 1, so anything past that would be nice (I love Hickman, Aaron & Fraction). My biggest hobby is consuming television shows, so if there is something real obscure that isn’t streaming on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime & you think I may enjoy it, that could be cool.
I’m trying to eat healthier & work out, so anything to help in me attaining my goal of looking fucking beautiful would be appreciated.
Clothing wise I wear a men’s large for t-shirts and I’m a 32-32 for pants.
And oh, I ugh.. I will put this lightly, I enjoy alcohol. So anything geared towards that would be enjoyed as well.

It worked out perfectly, we had 6 giftees and 12 gifters (once I added myself as a gifter) so everyone got matched up with 2 people.
So just keep in mind that the gift you send will be in DIRECT COMPETITION with another person and you don't want to lose!
I'm kidding. No gifting is required and if you can't send anything let me know so I can try to compensate somehow. I'd rather not see anyone end up getting left out so I'll do what I can if that situation comes up.
