I wasn't sure if it was Cate Blanchett or not, sadly; I would've bet on it, but I wasn't positive. But most of the other cameos and bit parts (Coogan, Jackson, Nighy, the agent from Extras, etc.), I believe I got.
Also, I had somehow failed to realize that Jim Broadbent had a major role in Hot Fuzz. He is so fucking great.

I thought the opening scene where Pegg is getting transferred was pretty funny, just because it seemed like a bit of gratuitous namedropping.

i was waiting the whole movie for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to kiss
The Priest gets shot and yells the most epic "JESUS CHRIST" ever caught on film.
Awesome movie all around. Definitely pretty high up on my all time favorites.
I have to say,
I was a little worried when he walked into town that he was just gonna go around shooting a bunch of old people while they cried out in their thin, old voices. I was very relieved when everybody else turned out to be packing. Oh, and old guy with a sword for the win.
Is that The Boys comic still being made? I liked the first few issues of it.
I think Devil's Due Publishing picked it up, should be new issues in the near future, if they don't decide to re-release all previous ones first under their name. Sucks too, just when it was getting to the killing and the violence and the jello pudding pops. Cannot wait.

I'm surprised this is doing well in the states. It's got a lot of humour about rural Britain that I thought wouldn't translate so well. Maybe I overthought it.
