In the previous comic, the last panel had someone stepping out of a bed (presumably the little girl), and in this one the little girl hasn't left the bed at all. Now I'm interested to know the meaning of the last panel of the second of these comics, if there is one.

I think that was just the kids foot hanging off the end of the bed.
Also, I love it when Gabe gets to flex his art muscles outside of the usual three panel format.

Also-I've been saying this about plushies for decades. They're awesome. I don't need mine to protect me from scary monsters anymore, though. They focus on helping me with the crap I still put myself through sometimes. Plushie hugs ftw.
