Maybe I'm wrong but I think he falls off a cliff this year.
What do I know though? I've been saying that about Ortiz for the last 3 years.

I was really, really torn on taking him again. He did have a good year last year, and Steamer likes him again this year, but there are other dudes I could get later that could give me basically the same production (and are younger), but I just really couldn't convince myself there was anyone worth taking over him in the 1st.
as a player, Baez will probably always be average, but as a fantasy asset... his 30 homers a year will be treasured as long as a team allows him to play, and doesn't turn him into a headcase

maddon wants him to be the next ben zobrist, at least on the defensive side of the ball. and...I don't know, I'm not particularly worried about him becoming a headcase

Looking forward to the giants continuing their even-numbered year streak.
New thread, new plug for the second league that needs 4 more teams but hasn't had anyone else join since it started oh well.

Glad to be rid of him.
Seems like his numbers over the last four years are very consistent. .330/20/80 seems like a good enough bet among all of these scrubs.
I had him for 4 seasons. I'm just glad I don't have to wonder if I'm going to get worthless Seager or MVP Seager from week to week anymore.

Oh good, gettin the team back together.

Let's keep this trend going.
The only thing missing from this infographic is the amount he hit thanks to PEDs.
