Hahaha happy for you man that's awesome that a Stipe win is that big for ya! He's a hell of a fighter
eh it's kind of a small circle.
Stipe showed up at the gym I went to. . .uh. .
a decade ago?
our wrestling coaches helped train him. So i've been hearing his name for a long time. Truth is Strong Style had and still has a reputation of being dirty when they fought. But once he made it to the big leagues most of the local fight folk got behind him.
So i've been watching him rise through the division but Cody Garabrandt has more hype than him.
It's a very small celebration. Which is kind of funny but I think it's going to take off as an upset tomorrow morning.
Green Room had a couple of very accurate and reasonable looking wrestling techniques in it.

Saw an article that caught my eye, I knew the heavyweight title changed hands often but I didn't realize that no one has ever defended it more than twice. It seems like at least once a year there is a big hype train for some dominant heavyweight but no one is able to string together more than three wins in a row when they get the title.
So just catching up on this weeks MMA hour, Ariel's interviewing Mighty Mouse and talking about this Ultimate Fighter they're going to have him doing. With more details it sound way less bonkers an idea than before. The fighters they're going to be getting aren't prospects, but the best of the best that they can get their hands on; champs from other organisations and such. If they can actually do that, then I'm on board.
Also Melvin Manhoef got screwed out of the title on one of the worst decisions I've ever seen in one of the worst fights I've ever seen thanks to Carvalho deciding he didn't want to do his job tonight
"I will f**kin' beat you into the ground in front of your whole life that I don't get to have." -Nick Diaz
It was honestly beautiful to watch. The Kimbo/Dada fight months ago was just hilariously bad and the Shamrock fight that same card was a farce, but this took it up a notch. 5 rounds of boring, one guy doing all the action and winning every round, yet the guy who at one point turned his back and walked away to avoid getting pounded more won a decision. Bellator does it again

Back in the early 2000s, the popular trope was someone getting kicked in the chest and flying back 10 feet to slam into a wall.
Now its this.
Ugh...

He's lost to Rockhold before, but after winning 3 straight, I can't really say he doesn't deserve the shot.
Good luck and remember to always say "You're winning this!"
