So I was considering buying some Miitomo tickets with platinum coins since it's not like I'm spending them on anything else and I wanna get more Zelda stuff while the games are still here.
However, this confused the hell out of me:
Uhhh... why are 10 tickets cheaper than 5? I can see you can only redeem the 10 ticket thing once, but still, you can only redeem the 5 ticket thing twice as well.... that is just so bizarre and stupid... And the 5 ticket one is ON SALE. I don't even know...
The 10 Ticket Reward is just basically a one-time thanks for using Miitomo but the 5-Ticket reward will likely be renewed eventually and you'll be able to redeem it again.
I just saw that today's Miifoto of the day was the last one they will do. Makes me really sad as that was half the reason I opened the app every day.

I would be sad if the app wasn't already dog slow. Anything that speeds up the long ass load time is good in my opinion. Can they take out the notifications and daily bonus while they are at it? Not to mention all the 30sec+ loading bars that happen between each one :P
I just saw that today's Miifoto of the day was the last one they will do. Makes me really sad as that was half the reason I opened the app every day.
Huh, I didn't get a notification for that. I wonder if it's because I missed a few days and I'll keep getting them until I've gotten all the ones I haven't received yet.

New update hit sometime yesterday it looks like. Wow, the game runs quite a bit faster! Still could be better but it's a noticeable improvement. Load times seem to be cut down by a bit.
It's also looks like they removed the coin rewards for having a certain number of hearts or comments on your posts per day, unless they just don't show them if you haven't earned them now. But all I saw on the list were the normal give 3 answers, read 10 posts, change your clothes ones.

There, finally got around to cleaning out the Zelda Miitomo drops... well, most of them anyways. All these free tickets they've been giving me + the ones I bought with my useless platinum coins have come in handy :P I got every tunic + hat color (the Twilight Princess-looking outfit), a few extra shades of the 8-bit t-shirts (which honestly, anything but black looked like garbage, but I got forest green which was ok), and almost all of the Breath of the Wild clothing (I think I skipped maybe 2 or 3 color options?). So yeah, not bad Been wanting to really tackle that before they get rid of them on the 14th but I kept forgetting.
That was the first one I tried The problem is, the dumb Mii has to hit that stupid pet on the far right and it never does for me, it slips between them (or in the case of the second method in that video, usually just got me the Mario shirt)
Every time I see this app update with "speed optimizations" in the release notes, I get excited because maybe they've finally fixed the two second loading bars everywhere. Nope. :sad:
Edit: FYI, there is a free Metroid hat (as in, a Metroid on your head ) on My Nintendo. You can also buy a kind of ugly Metroid t-shirt (like a white shirt with the "Metroid" logo - not the classic one but the modern one) and some Federation Force outfits (50 coins each, you have to buy each color separate which is kind of lame... so 200 each if you want all four colors of each one):

Wow, I just realized this weekend they severely nerfed the amount of coins you get from Miitomo. Like, 2-5 coins per thing now. May be time to stop bothering with this app (was mostly doing it for the coins as it is)

Just checked it myself, and yeah, that's pretty bad. I already have a huge stockpile anyway, since there's nothing actually worth spending them on.

From the center, try dropping the mii when the moving platform is near the bottom and the mii is tilted slightly to the left.
