I have a '97 Lincoln Mk8 and somethings wrong with the air intake system. It's preventing my car from turning on and it'll only turn on if we block the air from going in. And soon as we clear it it turns off. What can I do?
The car has an onboard diagnostic system, and given the problem you're describing I'm certain the "Check Engine" light is lit. Getting a cheap code reader and finding out what problems are being recorded might be a good start.
If you have to restrict air for the car to run, it means you probably have too much air and not enough fuel going in. Areas to check might include fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel injectors.

You can't give someone a pirate ship in one game, and then take it back in the next game. It's rude.
