Original war has set me up with a point where I can steal as many vehicles as I can repair and recycle/refield them.

Sadly, on this particular mission, the time dialation weapon gets stuck on one particular hit of terrain, right where my choke point is. Maybe push forward and hold them at the river.

Man, I hate mandatory stealth segments in a game. I'm literally on the SECOND story quest in Mordor. First, my save point is half a map away. Once I get to quest start, I have to escort a guy and protect him when attacked. Then I have to stealth in somewhere without letting anyone send off an alarm. Since these bastards take FOREVER to kill, I can't be seen at all or else someone gets away to light the damn beacon.

I'm really going to have to change my approach here. Or, put it aside and play something else.

If you have any side quest stuff open the stealth is a lot better once you're powered up.

    This mission is:
The first Ratbag mission, the Spirit of Mordor. I think I have to do this one to unlock side missions...

I might just try avoiding conflict instead of trying to clear enemies.

Stealth and escort quests are my two hated quest types. I will do fetch quests all day before god awful escort quests. I don't even like stealth games because it's so against how I want to play.

Needs more stealth escort sewer levels.

With checkpoints before cutscenes that require button presses to progress through dialogue.

And tutorial prompts that can be restarted via button mashing.

I agree mandatory stealth segments suck especially in games that aren't really designed to be stealth games, but they weren't that bad in Mordor. Orcs aren't very perceptive and if you mess it up, the save checkpoint is right before the stealth segment so you can just try it a bunch of times in a row with no worries. It's been a while since I played it so I'm not sure but I think that might be the worst stealth segment in the whole game too, so if you can manage to get through it there's no worse ones coming later.

My biggest annoyance with SoM was the boss fight with the big white giant thing the dwarf wants dead and even that wasn't too bad.

I think part of the problem is the previous issue you raised about using the bow. Even without upgrades, the headshots are devastating and since drawing the bow slows time for a short period, it makes even the baddies (like me) able to get them.

Looked up on the stronghold you need to infiltrate and taking the high path is way easier, though getting there can be a bit tricky. Trust me when I say that the stealth segments are way easier compared to Assassin's Creed Unity which I had played right before picking up SoM.

If you feel underpowered, there should be some hunting and collection side quests that can give you a nice boost or just going out and fighting orcs, especially some chiefs to get some glyphs for your weapons.

In the end, if you aren't enjoying the game then don't force yourself to keep playing.

XCOM 2 is available on consoles now, so it's possible to find today few sales on a PC version too.

I hope there is a special hell for people who make - 50 % sale for main game, but sell DLC's at a full price.

Also, give me proper Beyond Good & Evil sequel, no matter in what form. It may even have indie games-style visuals and budget, just give it to me.

It's one picture, i think it's too soon to guess what entire game will be about.

Maybe we will get prologue flashback level and then action will return to present day, who knows? I prefer to think that they would not ressurect a brand just to change everything people loved about it.
Even though it happened many times before to different brands and games.

I really hope they patch proper controller support. I know most strategy games work better with KBAM, but something about navigating specifically that particular X-Com grid with a mouse/steam controller feels all loosey goosey and imprecise...and they really didn't fix that in 2.
