A fun little quirk in Texas (and I'm assuming in other states with a lot of rural, two lane, farm roads) is for drivers who are going 5-10 miles under the speed limit to pull over and drive on the shoulder in order to let the cars behind them pass without crossing into the opposing lane. Some out of state drivers get super confused the first couple of times they see this, but for the most part it tends to work out pretty well..
Of course, sometimes you get that asshole who only "mostly" pulls onto the shoulder, slows down another 10 mph, and no, look buddy, I'm not going to pass you when there's two semis coming this way and you're still halfway in this lane, jesus christ just drive normally and let me worry about passing you when I'm good and ready.
This maneuver was the cause of many spectacular wrecks where I grew up. The driver in front would forget that the actual purpose of the shoulder is for cars to pull over and stop on, pull onto the shoulder, realize that the car up ahead was stationary, and either plow unto the back of a parked car or lurch back into the lane and sideswipe the passing car into oncoming traffic.
It doesn't help that the speed limit on two-lane blacktop tends to be 70 MPH, and going 75 will definitely get you tailgated by assholes with lift kits.

Maryland recently jumped the speed limit on all their interstates to 70 and I hate it.
Mostly because now all the jackasses barrel down the road at 85 or so, since they figure they can slow down enough to avoid a ticket if they need to. And usually they're right.
The sandwiches look like some got described a Döner Kebab while being drunk in noisy club and then tried to remember and make due with what was available in the fridge at 4am.

I've enjoyed watching others play Rimworld on Twitch and look forward to buying the game when I next get a chance; I never really got as much into Dwarf Fortress but it's the same kind of game and I think I like the look and polish of it a lot more.

The game is still in development to my understanding, though its a lot more fleshed out and playable then a lot of early access Steam titles; those tiers of sale are for if you wanted to support the development of the game in a Kickstarter donor fashion, with Pirate King being the highest tier of support available on their Steam page.
I believe one of the rewards for supporting different tiers is getting your name in the game somewhere, like added to the lists of possible NPC default names, with Pirate King being a way to get your name added to the list of raid leaders/boss characters or somesuch.
I would recommend just buying the base game though. It has all the content and I don't think this game will ever have DLC; it's made by just a handful of people, and primarily one guy.
