"I see. Unfortunate, but the law will undoubtedly attribute the aftermath to the events in the city, so long as you were discreet. These were mortals, then? No others of the Blood?" In midst of the conversation, Julia begins to douse alternating candles of the menorah. "Kenneth will not be pleased to learn that the museum has fallen under the eye of of an assailant. I advise you take extra discretion, though surely some of you would respect the sanctity of the priceless works stored within. Do try not to leave a bloodbath in your wake this time. And if another Nosferatu is there, I expect you to make an effort to retrieve him this time, or to see evidence that you all made a very valiant attempt."
Elizabeth listens to the sounds in her head. It wasn't the music that she was used it, the muse that once gave her insight and direction. This was something else, and with a quick look at Danny, it seemed he too could hear it. Even Bulldog seemed more tense, but that might have been because they were standing before the Prince.
Chantalle had told her to listen to the music as it was her connection to the world hidden from those blinded by sanity. But this was something different. And different needed to be said.
"I... I can hear something...
Bones breaking and the screams it brings.
But the bones are being crushed...
and the screamed hushed."
She takes a moment to break away from her trance and looks at the group.
"Something wrong is happening here.
Or going to happen time some time near.
Wives' tale or not, we should be on alert.
Or we might get really hurt."

Ah. Danny raises an eyebrow in Elizabeth's direction. Not present but shared. Most likely magic. Danny looks very pointedly at the menorah the Prince had been handling. He holds his attention on it until he is fairly certain that the others would have noticed.

Elizabeth would be subject to a look of intrigue from the Prince. "This is no time to share your... charming insight, regrettably. Another time would be best. Be on alert as you will, that should go without saying. But this time, I would appreciate that you return with a more tangible result." She seems otherwise untroubled by the remark of breaking bones, either passing it off as a delusion or having no cause to be concerned by the possibility of it being truthful. "If you have nothing further to add, which I suspect is the case, you may go about your business. I wager time is of the essence."
Bulldog bowed to the Prince and took that as his cue to leave. Once back at the SUV, he said "We'll need stakes and hammers if we're going to try and capture a Rat. I have a stash of them at another one of my crash pads."

"We thinking they try to pull the job tonight? Seems like they'd be cutting it close. I'm fine with heading in that direction at least." Danny doesn't mention anything about the meeting, hoping to put in a little distance before anyone said anything incriminating.
"It's probably worth a try, though, I guess I'd be surprised if there is actually a vamp with them this time. I mean, the last group we found didn't have one." Alex was only half paying attention as he replied. In his head, he was still going over their return to the Prince. Something seemed off about the conversation, mostly with the others and reactions they had, but he didn't attempt to pry just yet.

Not far from the SUV, a restless-looking Seneschal is waiting, nursing a cigarette that's likely more for show than any real effect. Upon your group's arrival, he flicks it off into the alley, fixing the group with a concerned look. "I hear they are after the museum. Savages. I trust you will take great care with your... handling of the situation? We can not afford for such an established landmark of our dear city to have its reputation ruined." What little you know of the museum is that it is far from an 'established landmark', and more of a tourist trap, but Kenneth seems to think of it as being akin to the Louvre.
"Would you like to come along this time? Do some questioning for yourself?" Deke asks the Seneschal, expecting a polite decline of the invitation. He opens the SUV door, reaching in to recover the SMG Bulldog had handed him earlier. He still doesn't look terribly comfortable with it, but at least the safety's on.
If there was something hidden in the Seneschal's extra concern over the measure, it was lost on Alex. "We'll make sure everything is safe." Clan bloodlines left Alex with an assumption of the fellow Toreador having some piece of art he was particularly attached to, and wanted preserved.

"A tempting offer, to be sure... but alas, I am not much for violence, and I would not wish to appear as being too afraid to assist should things go south. If you wish me to assist in a... shall we say, diplomatic sense, then... perhaps, should that be agreeable to your fellows?"

"I suppose we will see what comes of it. If it is truly the Nosferatu responsible for such madness, I will try and see if they can be reasoned with. If it is not, well..." Kenneth smiles with a relaxed shrug. "Do as you will with them. I'll have no cause for argument."

Contrary to the chaotic state of the bullet-ridden nightclub, the museum seems almost like an oasis away from the surrounding bursts of violence. Much of the street is silent due to the late hour, though not far down the sidewalk, a trash can seems to have been set aflame and is being nursed by a vagrant in a tattered coat.
The interior of the building appears dimly lit, and it's almost certainly closed, though even museums of its smaller sort are known to at least have one guard on watch.
Whether one is on call or even still present remains to be seen.
"It does not appear to be the scene of a crime by my reckoning... unless we're early, I suppose." Kenneth exits the vehicle, adjusting his collar while surveying the area. "Well then, friends, unless one of you happens to have a key, I suppose we could just knock."
A small flight of stairs leads from the sidewalk to a set of double doors, bearing a simple placard engraved beside it:
'Faulkner Institute for Arts and Sciences - Open from dawn to dusk, students and scholars may call for special requests outside standard hours.'

Danny wasn't sure if bringing the Seneschal along was the best decision but on the other hand he didn't know any of these other people much better than he knew Kenneth. Six of one, and so on and so forth. He noted the nearby vagrant.
"I can keep playing look-out if you'd prefer, but that position might be better filled by someone who isn't sure they can keep it together amongst the pretties." he nodded his head toward the vagrant "or we could just pay him to make a fuss if anyone scary... er shows up."
Danny wondered if it might be worth having a 'chat' with the 'vagrant' either way, but wasn't sure if now was the right time.

"Might be less of a fuss if we called and asked to be let in. Give us some time, either way." Max peered through the door, trying to detect movement.
"We'd need to make convincing students of the arts and sciences, though. Or scholars" Max tapped the sign, then turned around, surveying the surroundings. He glances at the figure trying to get warm.
"This whole thing is making me paranoid, though. Could that be one of Emmet's guys?"
"I think enough of us have a passing interest in art to make convincing students," Deke says. "But we could be more direct. A VIP visit with an expert in art history." He nods at Alex and then Kenneth. "The rest of us can play security detail."
Alex nods. "That sounds the most reasonable, and the most likely to be able to be pulled off. Seneschal, if you agree?" As he speaks, he reaches into a pocket and pulls out a pair of sunglasses that he keeps inside the jacket. He smooths out his clothes as well. He wasn't dressed exactly how he would prefer to imitate a VIP, but he was sure natural charm could help fill in the blanks.
Lizzy cocked an eyebrow at the group.
"Yes, your plan might work... during the day.
But at 4 in the morning, with the city on fire, no way."

Beyond the door, little signs of life or light can be made out. The faint distant glow of some security lights if anything.
At the suggestion, Kenneth ponders while peering at the entrance. "Well, I would certainly favor the proper approach. Little harm in making our presence known, seeing as how we're not the ones who mean the place harm. As to what brings us here at such an hour, well, I'm certain you have a clever explanation at hand. Far be it from me to impose." In other words, he seemed at a loss.
"I'm sure they've had stranger guests for worse reasons."

Max leans against the entrance, letting everyone have a say before they make a decision. His eyes slide over to the figure appearing to be huddling for warmth. He concentrates. Better safe than sorry, after all.

Bulldog was lost in his own thoughts, still dwelling on the strange meeting with the Prince and the stranger noises that he and Liz had heard. How had they ended up dragging the Seneschal into this? Maybe Kenneth would be useful, but Bulldog just hoped he didn't get himself hurt or worse.
Snapping himself out of his useless pondering, the biker nodded. "Make the call." he said to Deke.

"Yeah, guess it is about that time..." Danny watches the guy for a few seconds before casting a quick glance around the group, eyes settling on Lizzy, "I can take point on this if it's... Easier? But if you want to play it your way, I'll try to follow your lead." He takes a few steps backwards before turning in mid motion and tries to saunter casually towards the vagrant.
"Let's try not shooting our way in this time. They may go for the armed escort thanks in large part to the street violence," Deke says. "Have faith in Alex' ability to be charming."
Alex nods. "Looks like it's the best option we've got. Let's do this."
He clears his throat and steps back a little from the door, putting on an air of relaxed indifference, tapping his fingers against his arm in mock annoyance. If anyone were to answer the door now, they would only see someone who appeared to think very highly of themselves, and didn't like waiting.
Elizabeth cracked a smile at Danny and the two of them headed over to Miser.
"If I didn't know better, I'd say you were involved with this strange event.
Care to explain why you show up everywhere we get sent?"

It takes several minutes of uncomfortable silence, apart from some muttering down the street, which nothing seems poised to break. Until, at last, a guard in rent-a-cop security attire finally approaches the door.
He seems hesitant, and takes several looks around the hall, before approaching with a hand at his hip. It seems to do his confidence little good, since 'Pinnacle Security - Officer Miller' doesn't have a firearm, only a baton, and one that seems about as threatening as a glow stick.
Miller seems at least smart enough to not answer the door, only calling through the thin opening that the doorway allows. "Can, uh-... Can I help you folks with something?" He also seems ill equipped to deal with one unexpected guest, much less five.
"Everywhere? Hahahaha. Oh, my sweet sparkly snowflake. I appear where I deem safest. You and your charming entourage throw yourselves headlong into the bows of trouble time and time again. I watch from a distance until the blood rivers run dry. Or run reddest, whatever. Hehehe. Tell me, what sort of flow will you present tonight? Perhaps lyrical? I warn you, my battle skills are rusty... they don't let us into the vaunted Halls of Hip-Hop too often. You know how expensive those cover fees are. Or do you? I can just venture a guess. Hehe, I digress."
Up until that point, the vagrant had been warming his hands by the fire. He then retrieves them and removes his wool cap in a faux bow. "Miser, my dears, as I'm sure you clearly know. Your prince has surely said, so it goes. The Nossies aren't sure what to make of you lot. Either too stupid to know better, or too smart to let anyone think otherwise. Oh, right... hmm, not. Yes, let's go with that."

Max has moved down behind Alex, to let him make his move, and to keep the guard as secure as possible. When the guard appears, he looks at his cell phone, checking the time in a bored and exasperated manner. He gives the air of someone whose time is valuable, because it belongs to someone else. He clears his throat, and waits for Alex to speak.

Danny does his best to comprehend what the man is saying, but remains silent so Lizzy can steer the conversation. He tries to position himself directly between the man calling himself Miser and the entrance to the building - hopefully minimizing any suspicion that would arise regarding their activities.

"A Mr. Smith...? Well, I didn't hear about any private tour, especially not this late... I guess as long as you all be careful." The guard holds off a yawn, and unlatches the door, holding it open for the entourage. "No sense in letting the lot of you freeze outside. You all know where you're going, at leas-"
The guard stops mid-sentence, turning his attention to a nearby security light, which has begun to flicker. "Aw hell. I thought they fixed that damn generator..." Miller mutters to himself, then with one hand on his baton, begins to hurry back to his desk. The interior of the museum soon becomes darker with each passing moment, one light after the other blinking out in rapid succession, as if in sequence.
Alex was about to speak up when Deke interjected. Instead, he maintained an air of annoyance, attempting to portray a snooty VIP who was unaccustomed to waiting or generally not getting what they wanted. Deke's persuasion had worked, however, and the guard let them in. They entered the museum without incident, and were standing just inside when the lights flickered, the security guard ran off, and then the lights actually began to shut down.
Speaking low, in case the security guard was still nearby, Alex stated the obvious. "Looks like we got here just in time. Any general direction we think they might start towards?"
Seeing that Danny wasn't going to say anything, Lizzy continues.
"This isn't 8-Mile, no need to spit hot fire.
Just looking for answers my mind desires.
So the safest place for you is just outside the action?
Or maybe you are just a distraction?
What do you know of the Nosses' plans?
And their enemy that hunts the clan?"

"Not to disappoint, my past-tense poet, but I have no involvement in the affairs of Calebros. He... keeps me in the loop. As a courtesy, you could say. I know where not to be when the roof comes down. Which, might I add..." He gestures ever so slightly at the museum behind the pair. "I hope your friends have good insurance."
At the last question, he pauses. "Ah. Them. They say when the Nosferatu flee, the wise follow. And yet, here we are."
