    Which is a shame because the day time one looks pretty good?

    I also hope ULTRA BEASTS end up being a concept they drop after gen 7 because the first one was okay but I think these others are very bad

    the corocoro spoilers
    the jellyfish ultra beast looks like the girl in the sundress who is wearing team aether colors but I don't think has been confirmed to be associated with them

    the new mantis bug one looks exactly like the aether director lady

    the gross mosquito one probably looks like a swole version of one of the other aether scientists

    Those characters either ARE those monsters or they are doing evil science that is creating or otherwise bringing the ULTRA BEASTS into the pokeworld

    Both Rockruff evo's look good, night looks better though. Another reason I'm glad I'm getting Moon, since it'll be a little easier to get

    The Ultra Beasts look fine, not digging Beauty's pose, but she's fine besides that. UB-01 looks like a cute Lovecraftian thing, but the newer ones make it look like they're going for more of a toku villain look, which I can appreciate

    The concept of "this looks shitty and therefore is good" makes no goddamn sense to me. The only time to revel in shittiness is when there's no bar to clear and shit is all you have to enjoy. Pokémon is capable of good. The garbage only lessens the product.

    I'm almost wondering if the UB's are the modern-day version of Bill's old teleporter accident, but done deliberately.

    As in the game is responding to the fear of fusions by going "Yes we are doing that, but it is making nightmare monsters." And they're just running with it.
