What’s the best value for time and money in terms of play hours, good story, and interesting systems/mechanics from the big, single-player adventure games of recent years? Main titles for consideration are Witcher 3, Skyrim, Mass Effect, or Bioshock but open to other suggestions.
For context: going to be laid up for a while and looking for some good escapism I can really get lost in. Recently I’ve enjoyed Portal (fun novelty but short), Dark Souls (all around good), and Warframe (some interesting systems but gets old/grindy). Now looking for something along similar lines, ideally with a lot of depth and replay-ability.
