oh hey I have a 20 oz can of tomato paste from who knows how many years ago in the back of the cupboard
use y/n
N. From my time spent in food banks, tomato-based canned products are only really good for up to one year after the best by date. Check the best by date, but I'm pretty sure that tomato paste is toast.
But my function keys that I use for paradox video games...
Macs are not for playing games. They are for producing ruthlessly slick minimalist graphics for insufferable pop up restaurant menus in desaturated colours with lots of empty space.
ditch the border then you need way more left margin and the text should be so washed out by the background that it doesn't meet accessibility standards
also the background can't be just a single color it needs to be several layers of slightly opaque black stacked on top of a white background then with a Gaussian blur effect
Last night when I was at the grocery store (prior to getting pulled over by the cops for walking), I had a crisis of conscience about whether chili was a dangerously unhealthy thing for me to eat, right when I was staring at the cans of diced tomatoes that I was going to buy to use in the chili
I won that crisis and decided that yes, I was indeed going to eat chili, but fast forward to today and apparently this mental battle distracted me entirely from the process of actually buying the tomatoes, which I have only now discovered after browning the beef and tossing in the beans and chopping the onion
FFFFFFFFF
How would chili be a bad thing for you to eat? Like, making it with lean ground beef or turkey, I don't see it? There's no oil or butter in it, no cream, just a pound of lean protein, two cans beans, two cans tomato, whatever veggies and spices.
Even with a fatty protein, I drain 80/20 beef if that's what I've got and it's still 1/5th of the meal.
the spice packets have a decent amount of the devil sodiums and i am trying to reduce meats in general especially since i kind of indulged a couple of times over the weekend but yeah i decided that i would err on the side of chili and/or freedom
I still have an EEEpc with linux on it tucked away
that little guy is still a beast
I wonder how it'd fare with a SSD and win 10 slapped into it
probably better than with 7!
life's a game that you're bound to lose / like using a hammer to pound in screws
fuck up once and you break your thumb / if you're happy at all then you're god damn dumb
that's right we're on a fucked up cruise / God is dead but at least we have booze
bad things happen, no one knows why / the sun burns out and everyone dies

the elevators in my building have a rather complex algorithm that calculates time of day, floors to rest on, leaving doors open at specific times, etc. etc.
It's actually kind of impressive the thought that goes into managing thousands of workers and 54 floors.
Yeah this is kind of necessary in high rise buildings.
Also, supertalls will have like, intermediary banks and different banks serving different floors and so on
it's kinda fascinating!
Fuck I missed an elevator conversation. I know lots about this.
Elevator controllers are incredibly complex these days. The dispatching logic that goes into it and the wiring is substantial.
Learning, error reporting and self correcting are functions that newer controllers have.
We replaced controllers that made the ride of an elevator so smooth, that if the ADA didn't chime the floor you couldn't tell it was moving.

Buy another bagel. "Oh no cream cheese for me, thanks."
get another bagel to symmetrize everything
i win!
Some website I found said 30-40% chrome, 2-3% safari.
Edge is totally capable of streaming video over the internet though, unlike chrome, surprisingly.
Save the other in case you need to make a lame joke later in the day.
"Oh man I just creamed myself that was so good."

Whatcha gonna do with all that extra cream cheese though?
Eat it with a spoon, to remind yourself of your failing. That way, you won't do it again.

I wish there were more games I wanted to play that this machine could handle. this is literally what I'm left to think about at work.
I ran my graduate thesis project on one of those. It took almost 2 days to train

How does it feel to personally contribute this much ecological damage to the planet
hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahah
does it have a headphone jack?
Chrome streams video just fine, except for that weird Netflix thing where it can only do 720, not 1080.
Is everyone catching ghastly and taking their snorlax for candy?
^
But that would mean that Apple is lying to me.
Or that they are not smart enough to develop a proprietary streaming solution that works in Chrome.
Or that they did it on purpose in order to mildly annoy me.
