    I don't think they did overall a very good job in building the walk on water shoes
    They really should have tried different materials to see which could support a human's weight on water
    even if it was a ply of different woods and laquers

    I have seen someone catch arrows and a demo of catching a sword but they had taped up hands

    I remember seeing somewhere that ninjas caught swords with the hand claws they used for climbing buildings. So yea, there's that.

    All I know is I beat the Mythbusters soda and mentos record using a combination of rocksalt and potassium chloride. I also made my own super carbonated water, but I still beat them.


    The thermite on the Hindenburg experiment they did was awesome though.

    One guy doing an Archaeology PHD in... Wales, I think, wanted to see if mid-late bronze age swords could be used or if they would bend or break. So he went down to an abbatoir, got some recently decapitated sheep heads, took them outside onto a grassy bank and stabbed them into the sheep skulls (Apparently sheep heads are very similar to human heads in terms of proportion). And he took photos.

    I thought that was kinda mythbusters-ish.
