I definitely want to play though ME 1-3 again before Andromeda, but I have to figure out when to start it so I can be done right around the time it comes out
For me, ME1 takes about 20 hours, ME2 around 40, ME3 around 60 hours, so to play through the entire trilogy, right after the other I'd allocate probably 3-4 weeks.

I should do that myself...expecially since the added all of them to X1 and I already own all the DLC. I'll probably wait until the end of February.

Kinda surprised that 2 takes you longer than 1, it's always the opposite for me (with the ME2 DLC it evens out).
I do *everything*.
If there's a planet with "good" resources on it, I'm harvesting that.
There's also a lot more dlc than in me1.
I don't think there's that much to ME1 unless you go joyriding in the mako to see parts of the map which don't have any icons in it.

I think if I do everything...ME1 runs me about 30-40 hours. ME2 about 45 with DLC. And ME3 was about the 50-60 range with DLC.

Play ME1 as a biotic on easy if you have to play it at all.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I'm also trying to make sure I interact with all of the cast regularly this time around, whereas I neglected some characters the first time I played
I still don't like Vivienne but the fact that you can disagree with her and tell her to go punch sand and she will still approve because if you're going to be the leader at the very least you should be confident in your decisions is a very nice touch that makes her feel more fleshed out and real
Sera is right out. Blackwell seems too...tragic? For my tastes. Josephine and Cassandra aren't picking up what Evelyn is throwing down and Varric loves his crossbow more than me.
I've got it down to Iron Bull or Cullen, I think.
Obviously only because Scout Harding isn't an option
Iron Bull or Cullen will come down to your... tastes. I know I was always probably going to go with Cullen but I wanted to see what Iron Bull's romance was like. After the first romantic scene with him I reloaded the game and then declined his offer.

I guess I assumed they just laid their eggs in water and then a male krogan came over and fertilized them.
It's a rough experience.
I don't think they lay eggs, as I remember a lot of references to stillbirths thanks to the genophage.

Dorian is absolutely amazing.
And then it turns out he kinda is!
I love Inquisition. You hang out with a bunch of assholes.

Iron Bull is still the absolute best

And Blackwall is funnier than I remember
Not, like, as a character? Just as a person. He's a bad guy, Qunari believer.
