    Wow. I loaded FEAR on the new machine, patched it, ran the graphics test with the suggested settings, then cranked the settings even higher and the FPS went up.

    I made it because I asked multiple times for suggestions.
    I heard "cheesecake" from 2, "not cheesecake" from one, and nothing from another.

    Plus, cheesecake is goddamn delicious. So dumb or not, it was a gamble with a high probability for a good payoff, Geek.
