Has anyone gamified learning Security+ because this shit is going to kill me.
I got my Sec+ not all that long ago, and the Darril Gibson book was the best one I found. Read it all, then do the practice tests, the answer keys in the practice tests will tell you which chapters to re-read if you got them wrong.
The test proper was sooo much more "do you speak CompTIA vocabulary?" than it was an actual test of how well you know security fundamentals though.
I'm kind of surprised there isn't a Network Adminstrator Simulator 2017 on Steam. Seems like something the Germans would make.
Hell yeah, that's the book I'm working through! Good to know I picked a good one.
@jclast do you happen to work for DoD or Federal stuff? FedVTE has a pretty good free lecture series that helped.
If you have to pay for the course I recommend getting the one with 2 vouchers and the learning software. Loading that quiz app on my phone helped out quite a bit as well for reviewing things I had half read/watched videos on.

Hmm, I honestly don't know. I have a 360 controller I can try later but I am lacking a Live headset. I would imagine so though since Discord is marketing to gamers.

The driver should expose the headset connected to the controller as a standard Windows audio device, which should allow you to set it as a speaker and mic.

Huh. So I sat down and decided to play more Gunmetal Arcadia and found myself with a bit of a lucky run where I managed to beat the game! Of course, based on the ending I got (the "evil" one), I can tell there are several endings for me to see. I'll probably go back to it to see what else I can do. I didn't actually mean to get that ending; I didn't realize the credits were going to roll when I moved offscreen there.
