    I was thinking the other day, that my nintendo purchases have always been "Oh I'm just paying $350 to play zelda"

    they should just move to PC games or something and charge $100 instead

    Well they aren't wrong. You should definitely play older games before playing a new game that is vaguely similar.

    It's why when someone asks how to tank in WoW I tell them to get gud in Meridian 59.

    a bright screen in a dark room can be pretty distracting
    It is distracting but also like one of the explicit rules of the theatre is don't use your phone. They tell you not to use it before every showing. You don't gotta agree with the rule but that doesn't mean you gotta break it. I mean you may think restaurants where you're required to wear a jacket are dumb but presumably you don't roll up to one wearing a Hawaiian shirt

    It sounds like a ridiculous statement in my head but I sort of believe it's true. I can see that man getting back -in- the Senate and becoming the new Liberal Lion. The Democrats are sorely missing a figure like that.

    Nintendo has a pretty good idea what they are doing.

    They have about 3 core games they are going to hit with
    300 for the console, they make 50 bucks.
    Mario, Zelda, mario kart, For each game they sell they are making about 30 bucks.

    If they sell 10 million consoles and 20 million games. They'll be rolling with a billion bucks going into 2018.

    I'm not sure if the switch is a good or bad idea.

    It is interesting, and it will be profitable. Maybe it'll go wii level of profitability. Maybe not.

    I like the idea though.
