Later this year, Conan is coming to PS3 and 360, to push the limits of the next generation. This game from Nihilistic and THQ promises to redefine the action/adventure genre as we know it. Conan video games have never looked as good as those screenshots, but that doesn't change the fact that the screenshots look like absolute ass. This is going to be for PS3 and 360? It looks like an Xbox 1 game at best.

The screenshots were posted on Gamespot and IGN on March 1st of this year. That's not exactly a long time ago...

And regardless, they still look pretty funny whether they reflect the final product or not. If you're going to release screenshots that look that goofy, how can you expect people to take it seriously?

Developers don't generally show off games when they look like shit. I'm betting this is 90% what the final product is going to look like. Defend it all you want, but when the game launches and looks like fucking ass, don't say I didn't warn you.

I already pre-ordered this. Looks totally fucking sweet. I'm a huge Conan fan so it was a must have.

I heard you get to dual wield axes. Any truth to that?

All I can tell you is I fucking love the screenshot from this game. Everytime I see Conan's down-syndrome, retarded face staring at me as if to say "why are you watching my bash this guy", I just burst into laughter. It is so incredibly hilarious.

It's kind of sad a lot of people took the OP so seriously. In any case, while the screenshots look really bad, I had to see for myself how it looked in motion...

I'm not sure the game actually looks better, but the camera being further away and everything moving makes it a little harder to tell.

In the release version it was announced that the camera will be pulled backwards into an overhead view, and the game will instead be an RTS.
