So yeah, Anjin, wtf are you trying to get at? That's the proof that Slott shouldn't be on ASM? That's a terrible example.

When he dies, I hope they write "Worst Affirmative Action Hire, EVER" on his grave. His corpse should be trolled.

Bad dialog. You don't end up writing She-Hulk on accident.

    I don't think that's bad dialog.

    And I know bad dialog.

    I own Chuck Austin comics.

And even if it was bad, why are you judging a man's writing ability solely on one out of context page of a comic?

Slott is hardly the supreme wordsmith of the land, but his books are so fun that I never even noticed his dialogue wasn't great until it was pointed out to me.

    I agree about Whedon's Runaways.

One point that I particularly remember annoying me is when Nico says "Runaways, run away!" or something like that.

While they have referred to themselves as "runaways" in conversation, never has it been used by any of them as some sort of team name before.

And then there was the whole thing with Molly "predicting" what happened to Chase.

Although I suppose one could argue that's her telepathy manifesting.

On the other hand, Molly punching the Punisher in the gut was pretty cool.

Matt Wagner presents: Aquaman Mystery Theatre?

Also, as for Dan Slott, I agree that both the dialogue in that She-Hulk page and in the Spider-Man Swing Shift comic are pretty bad.

That said, his GLA and The Thing were pretty awesome.

The worst of it (for me. So far. In terms of continuity.) is that he nerfed Karolina and has her using the bracelet again.

Anyone have an idea as to what Millar and Hitch's new book is going to be?

Just a theory, but late as hell

I thought the the Molly correctly guessing Chase's fate was cute. And the sequence itself where Old Lace saves Chase was bad ass as hell.

It's still a little weird to me with the new art and someone not BKV writing it, but it's not bad... just different.

What do you mean? When did she gain the ability to turn off her powers without the bracelet?

And how is needing the bracelet to turn off her powers a nerf, exactly?
