Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
My mom's lower back about an inch or two above the hips is bruised right on the spine basically. She's very hard to get proper answers from, so theres only so much I can figure out. She says it somewhat tender on pressing(although she tells , it doesn't hurt when walking or flexing the back, it only really hurts getting out of bed in the morning, hasn't done anything to commit trauma to her back other than being sick and lying in bed and she has a history of lower back pain(on and off I think).
She thinks its a slipped disc and she may need surgery... I think its just from lying in bed for too long of a time. Shes on anti-biotics at the moment as well if that effects anything.
Does anyone know if this is something outside of just normal back pain?
I was gonna go off asking why so many people ask for health advice that seems much better provided by a licenced physician and that maybe it's mostly from Americans without health care or something but now that I see you're Canadian....
why can't you just take her to the doctor?

This is easier than taking the mother to the doctor?
But seriously, get your mother to a doctor. They can provide much better medical advice than we could ever hope to offer.
It sounds like your mom has other medical issues, which may very well be related to this, or this may be doctor-inflicted (i.e. could be the result of one of her prescribed medicines). You really need to take her to a doctor.

Agreed with all.
Go to the doctor, and take advantage of your tax dollars at work!
