Many years ago (mid-late 90's) there was a computer RPG (on PC I think) that I am trying to identify. The only thing I can remember about it was that during the "intro sequence", it was explaining the current situation in the kingdom and at one point it says "and the peasants rejoiced", at which point an image of a group of peasants gave a depressingly lack-luster "Hurrah".
I know it's not much to go on - but does anyone remember what game this was?
