I've given up on the practicality of sigs in here, so I figured you guys could use a way to strut your stuff.

    If it works, heh.

Personally I always found icon_www.gif <-that just as useful as a sig, guess no one uses it though.

    Hi all.
I've been reading PA for awhile, but I just signed up for the boards. A few weeks ago I started a web site to display some of my work. Everything there is a work in progress so I would love some feedback. The last two semesters I was in a great creative writing class at the local JC, they won't let me take the class again so I've lost my sounding board. I'm hoping some out there might be interested and maybe even enjoy my work. Any feedback at all would be great.

the site is http://www.freewebs.com/dackondarkblade/ Dark Prince is the story I'm working on right now and have up on the site. Feedback here on the PA forum would be fine, but I also have a message board and my email address on the site, so whatever is easiest to give me feedback on is great!

Anyways, I was reading through the forums for awhile before posting so I'm looking forward to being an active member of the forums

Currently the only thing I have out that's actually for sale is this:

    http://www.reapermini.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=1005&cat=30&page=1

That name in the middle at the bottom is me. :) I wrote about half the entires is that one.

They purchased a full-length novel from me set in the CAV universe. It's a good read, if I'm allowed to say that about my own work. It's due out in August. Believe me, the INSTANT that goes up on Amazon I've got a few things on their way to New York.

Currently they have me working on army books for their new game called Warlord. Here's a link to the site and the fan mini gallery. Some good stuff in there:

More to follow as the career progresses.

Simple ad-whore. I started a blog project with about a team of 6 writers. Called Evermore, the goal is to publish essays, thoughts, general writings and commentaries by young people (the team is seniors in HS to college) on political, social, cultural and other issues. We desire to produce truely interesting and thought-provoking words from budding minds of the next generation of writers. We also want to challenege our generation and peers to be more involved and informed in today's world.

Still getting setup. We have a wide-range of writers, all kinds of different opinions. Should be very fun.

Wandering Ways is my personal blog. There is some moderately good non-fiction buried among a pile of personal crap. Sorry. I'm considering reorganizing the material into more specific categories, and posting some of my fiction work, but I need to focus on some other work for another few weeks first.

Critical Games is fairly new, and is where I drop writing concerning the game industry (censorship, ethics, et cetera).

    Err, hello.

I have a handful of things posted on a specific site elsewhere, but I just wanted to link this one because it's the one I'm closest to proud of. It wound up getting "published", so to speak, by a bloggish slashdot spinoff called kuro5hin. I hope you at whatever level enjoy it.

I'm posting this info here at Brink's suggestion, since Writer's Block doesn't have a chat thread and this seems to be the next best place for it: we've set up an officially affiliated Penny Arcade Forums Ventrilo Server.

Ventrilo's a nifty voice-chat program that you can download and use for free, and the server itself is open to anyone who posts in any PA forum. If you want to see how to access it, read my first post in the thread in G&T for the info--it's long, but it answers just about every question you could have.

A few mods suggested the best method for me to let everyone else know about the new Ventrilo server was in each forum's chat thread, so I'm just putting the info here rather than creating a new thread. If there's enough interest you could easily get the same post stickied here.

If you need anything else, PM me or just hop on the Ventrilo server and ask... happy voice chatting!

I created a site where people can post works and edit other works (it's running on Wiki software). Basically, anything on the site can be edited by anyone else on the site, in whatever way they want. I'm trying to get an audience (or even just people to go look at it once).

    http://www.writtenconspiracy.com (click on MSG)

If you're interested, go have a look-see. And *please* make an edit or something. It's been three weeks and the only person who has gone to the site is my girlfriend (I have rad friends).

Oh, FYI: there's an Erotica section on the page, but there's nothing in it. So if that's a problem for you, now you know.

Now that I think of it, I also have a horror site that I recently put up. "A Gathering of Crows" reprints a bunch of my B&W horror comic book work from the 1990's. I haven't been promoting it as much (mainly because I have kids now and don't want them seeing the scary/gory stuff their dad used to write), but it's cool if you're into that stuff.

    Hey all. I r teh n00b.

I've had this up on my site for awhile, but haven't got any feedback on it one way or the other. It's a fantasy novella written in the style of a survivalists handbook/glossary. It's an experiment in writing a satisfying non-linear narrative.

I'd recommend downloading the stand-alone version for maximum immersion, but the other versions work very well on their own. If you have feedback, I'd love to hear from you through email. Thanks in advance!

First off, I'd like to point out that Penny Arcade is one of the greatest webcomics around. End of strory.
Next I'd like to post a link to my own webnovel, because I'd really like to get it out there on the net. Whether or not it actually gets any where dosen't matter, the fact is I tried. Anyways, the story currently has 13 chapters as of today April 21st 2006, Leave any comments on the site, or at my e-mail, because constructive critisism is always good.

Note: I accidently posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry.

I know that I haven't kept up with the forums here, and I'm sorry about that. I still read Penny Arcade 3 times per week and have gotten a bunch of other folks to tune in, but work keeps me off the internet most of the time. Anyway, the newest episode is here: http://labbratz.comicgenesis.com

It's part of a storyline that introduces a new character, Von Washington.

    That storyline started here: http://labbratz.comicgenesis.com/d/20060402.html

But that was part of "The Big Science Meeting" storyline, which started here: http://labbratz.comicgenesis.com/d/20060219.html

Which put together the research done in Al Ruby's lab, which started here: http://labbratz.comicgenesis.com/d/20060108.html

Dang! I didn't realize how LINKED these little episodes are! I plug them in every week, but it's trying to see the forest for the trees.

If you'd like to give me some feedback, please do that here: LabBratz@hotmail.com

    Thanks for all the support!
