Aside from the format, there's really no reason to expect the same things from Countdown that you got from 52.


When in Rome wasn't bad. It's got Riddler as the comic relief sidekick, and it's very much in the vein of Long Halloween and Dark Victory. You might as well pick it up to complete the trilogy.

Also, Ant-Man ended in a completely different way than I ever expected an issue of Ant-Man to end.

I totally thought about buying New Warriors. I enjoyed the art.
But I decided I didn't know enough about the old NW (aside from Speedball -> Penance due to Thunderbolts) and .. well, yeah.

I dunno, given the supposed age of the people on the team, I'd say it rings very true. It sounds like a bunch of smart kids who're convinced they've learned something new about injustice in the world, not knowing that they're not saying anything new or profound. Also, the text messaging/IM stuff was spot on.

Oh, and Agent Sykes. I'd "investigate" her, all right. :winky:
