Buying a gift for a girl

This is a hard one. Gotta get this girl a birthday present (Her birthday is the 12th, but it can arrive a few days late) and given the distance between me and her, should be something I can get online. We met at a Model Un conference and have referred to eachother as our countries for a while, so her being Saudi Arabia, some sort of jewelry in that vein would be cool. I was considering just some godiva chocolate, but that stuff is waaaaay expensive. So I'm at a loss, anyone have suggestions? She's 19, if that matters.

    Well, jewelry is alot more lasting than chocolate. Lasting benefit factors into cost in my mind. If that makes sense.

    I know her pretty well. I met her about 2 years ago and we've kept in pretty constant touch. We're gonna be visiting eachother this fall as well. And I'm thinking of spending at max 50 bucksish. Less is always good, but that's about my ceiling.

    And the jewelry being creepy concern is noted, but I'm sure it wouldn't be in this case. Assuming it's not "holywhathtehell" expensive of course.

    Sending anyone the hope diamond as a gift would creep them out.

    Honestly if you stick to fifty bucks, maybe a little less it shouldn't be too creepy, as long as it's not a heart or anything
