Hey Trainwreck, as people write in saying that they were chosen, add them to the OP, would ya? Thanks :) I want to keep track of who we'll be cheering for this year.

I heard that the deadline for pre-registrant Omegathon elegibility is today, but they probably won't start calling until at least Monday.

Well, in the news post they said that they'd be choosing today, but I agree that if today is the deadline then they would probably call Monday.

Either way, I'm not leaving my cell phone alone for a second.

I just hope that they try more than once to contact the person. If I got chosen but got called during work and couldn't answer...

I think in the past, they have left a message and a certain amount of time to call back. At least, that's what I remember hearing.

This is my first time registering in time to be chosen. It would be nice to make the cut

I am so friggin' nervous about this, my hands were hesitant when I checked the box at registration... Do I dare? YES I DARE!

I don't REALLY know it was them, but I've received probably 3 private calls in the 4 years I've had this cellphone number. I also received the call on the same day, around the same time that other people were called and asked to be Omeganaughts.

You have to think about it. A trip to japan, Tickets for the tokyo game show. Its kind of a once in a lifetime experince. They did an excellent job topping last years prize.

I still think PAX05 had the best prize, Its just hard to top the Ultimate NES Collection, though this years comes alot closer to doing so then last years.

I still think they could top it by offering all three current consoles(maybe even the handhelds), a decent library for them and a nice TV to go along with it. That's all I need, really.

Yeah, personally this years prize doesn't seem all that sensational to me compared to 05. Its easier to get excited about something thats actually there, guarded by a large cage and an enforcer patrol.

im not saying its any less valuable, its just not as sensational as having a guarded cage with lots of awesome things inside it in public view.

You can only get so sensational, I guess. And the NES collection is pretty damn hard to beat for that.

That said, the prizes have consistantly remained pretty damn cool.
