He writes the Outsiders as all sleeping with each other.
Because Superheroes never have sex, of course.
I don't mind superheroes having sex. It's just you don't get the Justice League all doing each other. You don't get a random guest star in Teen Titans suddenly revealing they've had sex with one of the regulars. It's just too much sometimes, y'know?
He writes the Red Hood like he's never read anything before, let alone Batman (or even his own stuff, now - the current Red Hood is the same guy who beheaded a bunch of drug dealers just to psych out some other bad guys, right?)
I'm not quite sure I understand this argument. The Red Hood is supposed to be good now?
Hell if I know. He's fighting Green Arrow! He's hanging out with Donna Troy! Who knows what wacky adventures he'll get up to next?
On the Loeb hate - he's had his moments too. The Long Halloween was good. Dark Victory was more of the same. Hush was alright, but also really highlighted Loeb's story-by-numbers style. Then Superman/Batman fell apart in the first arc by not making any sense at all. (Example - Nightwing hears that Superman and Batman have been captured by Lex Luthor, so he breaks into the White House to ask Luthor where they are. Luthor is expecting him, because it was all a carefully laid plan to confront Nightwing and ask him where Superman and Batman are. These is just one of many ways that first arc is broken.) On top of that, every single Loeb issue had a hero vs hero fight. Most of Loeb's stuff seems to rely on you not remembering what you read last issue, or even last page sometimes.
But folks, if you're enjoying Winick and Loeb's stories, then great! I'm very happy for you. I'm not, however, required to overlook their often-serious flaws.

Yeah, the only Loeb thing that I've read and also liked was Daredevil Yellow. It's nothing really new or different, though. I think I really only like how Sale illustrates Daredevil's actions, too.
I've read: Long Halloween, Hush, Fallen Son...
I might pick up For All Seasons sometime, but he just never seems to click with me.
Also, I'm really liking Celia Calle's American Virgin covers. The faces are a bit strange, but it's a bit strange in a way that works. The colors and compositions are top notch!
Also, also, Green Lantern Corps is such a fun book. I hope it doesn't get cancelled for a while.

I'm more than positive that it's Katana, sans shitty ass "new look".
