    The Eddi Murphy thread and the ensuing Ditka/Butkus alt insanity, might have been one of the funniest series of threads the forum had. Then the whole things went to hell, alts got outlawed, and Ditka was relegated to a buzzword that no one got in the first place.

    Though, the Ditka thing did give birth to the Bill Brasky movement and all of the Chuck Norris/Vin Diesel jokes that no one ever got tired of.

    Or at least Ditka was in the same vein as those things.
